Pancevo Seeking Designer and Contractor for Development of Promenade at Tamis Wharf – Job Worth RSD 341.2 Million

The City of Pancevo has opened the tender for the preparation of the technical documentation and the works on the development of the river bank area.

According to the documentation, the procurement pertains to the preparation of project-technical documentation and the execution of the works on the reconstruction and extension of the public lighting system, as well as the landscaping of the left bank area of the river Tamis in Pancevo, in the section between the Old Pancevo Bridge (Mose Pijade Street) and the facility of the shipbuilding company Jugoslovensko recno brodarstvo Brodoremont, along with the construction of an access route and a parking lot with public lighting in front of the silos.

The location covered by the project entails the entire embankment with all the footpaths, surfaces and stairs on the stretch between the old bridge in Mose Pijade Street and the Brodoremont parcel, around 1,600 meters long.

According to the project task, the works aim to increase the value of the public space of significant importance and potential.

The focus, it is added, will be on developing pedestrian and cycling lanes on the promenade on the outer rim of the embankment, along with the equipping with traffic, road and tourist signalization, as well as the development of pedestrian zones and plazas in the unprotected section along the river Tamis.

The estimated total value of the job is RSD 341.2 million without the VAT, and bids may be submitted by May 20.
