Construction of Underground Garage Near National Assembly to Start in September – Tender for Contractor for Garage Near Branko’s Bridge in Two Months

China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Co. Ltd (CDHS – CSI Parking Investment doo) has opened the tender for the supervision of the construction of two underground garages in Belgrade, in Vlajkoviceva Street and Fruskogorska Street.

The criterion is the lowest offered price and a five-year experience in the required jobs. Bids may be submitted by May 17. The estimated value of the job is EUR 396,000 without the VAT, and other details of the tender can be found HERE.

As Zhong Jian, a representative of the Chinese investor, told eKapija, the value of the construction of the garage in Vlajkoviceva Street is EUR 7 million, whereas the one in Fruskogorska Street is worth EUR 9 million.

– The plan is for the construction of the garage in Vlajkoviceva Street to begin in September and the contractor was already selected at last year’s tender, namely, the Chinese construction company Shandong Luqiao. The construction of the other garage, the one in Fruskogorska Street, is supposed to start in December, and the tender will open in two months – Zhong told our portal.

The tender documentation says that the construction of the garage in Vlajkoviceva Street will take 15 months and that the construction of the one in Fruskogorska Street will take 18 months.

When asked when the construction of the other two announced underground garages in Belgrade, at the Students’ Square and the Republic Square, might be expected, Zhong pointed out that “the company is waiting for the Serbian government’s instructions”.
