Marera Properties is the new owner of Zemun Park, the first retail park in Belgrade, which takes up 15,000 m2 of retail space. The company’s strategic orientation of developing its retail portfolio through high-quality facilities in busy and well-connected locations has resulted in the acquisition of the retail park at the very entrance to Belgrade, only a few kilometers away from the Zemun center. This acquisition is an important step toward the expansion of the company’s retail portfolio in the capital city, whose backbone is the Forum Shopping Center retail facility in Nis. This year already, Marera Properties will start further developing Zemun Park. As all the existing capacities are leased, and there’s a great interest from purchasers and traders in this location, over 8,000 m2 of additional retail space will be built. Along with the existing parking lot of 550 spaces, a new parking zone will be built, all to the end of achieving a maximum comfort for the consumers.
With this acquisition, Marera Properties is further developing its portfolio, which currently consists of nearly 200,000 m2 of retail, industrial and office spaces. The company invests in real estate, its development and further placement on the market, with the focus on the three regional centers, Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad.
