Trade Agreement Signed Between Serbia and Great Britain

Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic and UK Ambassador to Belgrade Sian MacLeod have signed the Agreement on Partnership, Trade and Cooperation between Serbia and the UK, which keeps the level of cooperation in all fields and the degree of trade liberalization which existed until December 31, 2020, the Ministry of Trade announced.

The agreement, which was signed on April 16 at the Palace of Serbia, sets new legal foundations for the regulation of bilateral trade, which was previously defined by the Stabilization and Association Agreement between the European Communities and their members and Serbia.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction over the successfully finalized negotiations and the formal securing of the continuation of the successful cooperation in the spheres of politics and economy.

Minister Matic pointed out that the Agreement on Partnership, Trade and Cooperation between Serbia and the UK kept the level of cooperation in all fields, as well as the degree of trade liberalization that existed until December 31, 2020.
