Hungarian company MVM Group interested in investing in the Serbian energy sector

The Hungarian company MVM Group is interested in investing in Serbia, said the president of this company,
Gyorgy Kobor, at a meeting with the Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic. As it was announced from the ministry, the possibilities of cooperation and investment of this company in the energy sector were discussed at the meeting.

Kobor stated that this company plans to operate in Serbia and Belgrade, as the center of the entire region.

- The future is in the exchange and distribution of energy. We are interested in working together to improve the distribution network, as part of the European network. Also, Serbia and Hungary are involved in the construction of the gas pipeline and the topic of Russian gas inflow. There are many investment opportunities. We want to invest in Serbia, that is why we are here, to explore all opportunities and possibilities - said Kobor.


The Minister pointed out that Serbia will soon have a new EUR 15 billion worth investment plan in mining and energy.
