Serbian capital in Macedonia - MAT Airways got license for business
Skopje-based company MAT Airways, which has been formed by Serbian companies that invested significant funds in it, got the flying license yesterday (June 15, 2010) from the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Macedonia.
- The license will enable us "to do all the promised activities with the aim of improving economic and tourist integration of the two countries" - said Darko Milačić from Metropolitan Investment Group.
- Our decision to invest in the Republic of Macedonia has proved to be the right one and we are very satisfied with the fact that the quality and security have also been recognized by authorized institutions because the success of MAT Airways will also be a success of Macedonia in strengthening its potentials in the region - said Milačić.
New company MAT Airways owns Boeing 737-500 airplanes, which will be flying to a number of European destinations, and the company plans to increase its fleet soon.
