This year, the citizens of Serbia will be able to travel to Greece for a summer vacation, but only with a valid certificate, no matter what brand of vaccine they received.

This was agreed today at the meeting between the Minister of Tourism of Greece, Harry Theoharis, and the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Serbia, Tatjana Matić.

When it comes to children, Theoharis said that children up to 10 years of age do not need a vaccine or a PCR test, while those above 10 will need to have a negative test.

Following the meeting, it was announced that the citizens of Serbia will be able to travel to Greece as soon as mid-April, that is, that the borders are expected to open then, although the season officially begins on May 14.

Also, Serbian citizens will be able to enter Greece through Macedonia and Bulgaria as well.

The Minister of Tourism of Greece, Harry Theoharis, and the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Serbia, Tatjana Matić, signed the Memorandum on Vaccination Certification today.

The Greek minister also said at the media conference that his country will accept all the vaccines, including the Chinese and the Russian one, although they are still not accepted on the EU level.
