The vaccination of business people from the region, for whom the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS) has provided 10,000 vaccines, has begun in Serbia.
Around 7,500 business people from the economies of the Western Balkans applied for vaccination this weekend in Serbia, organized through the regional Chamber Investment Forum in cooperation with the Government of Serbia.
The president of the CCIS and the board of the Chamber Investment Forum, Marko Cadez, pointed out that the vaccination of business people from the region was important, considering that they often come into contact with each other and travel a lot.
In a speech made in front of the Belexpo Center in Belgrade, he said that business people were aware that no one in the region is an island and added that around 12,000 business entities from Serbia cooperated with the colleagues in the region.
Among those who applied for this weekend’s vaccination, carried out in two locations in Belgrade, as well as in Nis, most business people come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Albania.
Cadez pointed out that, in several weeks, 4,000 and 5,000 business people from Serbia had been vaccinated in the country at the invitation of the CCIS.
