UNIQA Introduces PostCovid Systematic Health Checks for Healthcare Insurance Beneficiaries
To everyone who wants to check their health after recovering from the coronavirus infection and, if needed, take the necessary measures for further recovery, with expert medical help, UNIQA provides two postCovid systematic health check packages, which, in addition to internal and cardiology checks, entail laboratory analyses and the necessary ultrasound and color-Doppler checks at the health institutions within the MedUNIQA network throughout Serbia.
This unique service in Serbia is available to the current and the new clients of the UNIQA health insurance. The only requirement for all users is to have an agreed systematic health check within their health insurance, and the clients can choose whether to realize it as a regular check or a postCovid systematic health check – without an additional fee. All the potential additional checks based on the results of the postCovid systematic health check are not covered by health insurance as long as the pandemic is still declared globally and locally.
With the postCovid systematic checks, UNIQA confirms its uncompromising care for the health and wellbeing of clients, meets the users’ needs and justifies its leading position in voluntary health insurance. Health cannot wait, and the UNIQA policy enables quick and high-quality health services for clients within the contracted packages for out-of-hospital and hospital treatment, for all acute diseases in over 800 health institutions within the MedUNIQA networks throughout Serbia even during the epidemic. The MedUNIQA team, consisting of medical doctors exclusively, is available 24/7 for advice and for scheduling medical checks at the selected health institution and at the appointed time – without waiting. In case a coronavirus infection is confirmed, further treatment is not covered by insurance while the pandemic lasts, because the treatment is done exclusively in line with the protocol of the Ministry of Health of Serbia.
All information about health insurance is provided at UNIQA insurance offices, by calling 0800 201 301, free of charge, or by visiting https://dzo.uniqa.rs/.
