Women Own One Fourth of Companies in Serbia

As 100% owners, women run 117,644 companies, whereas two and a half times more companies, 303,782, are owned by men, according to the data of PKS Partner.

The highest number of female company owners is registered in Nis, specifically, in the municipality of Medijana, as announced on the website of PKS (CCIS – Chamber of Commerce of Serbia).


Of the total of 451,835 companies which operate in Serbia, 30,409 companies have a mixed ownership structure.
