Laboratory of Corridors of Serbia Accredited – Testing of Building Materials Used in Roads

In early February, the laboratory of the Corridors of Serbia successfully completed the procedure of accreditation for the physical and mechanical testing of the building materials used in building roads. The scope of the accreditation covers the standard methods of testing asphalt mixtures, bitumen, stone powder, stone aggregate, cement, concrete and soil.

According to the Corridors of Serbia’s website, the certificate is issued by the Accreditation Body of Serbia for the period of 4 years.

The main activity of the Laboratory of the Corridors of Serbia, as a state laboratory, is related to control tests of the quality of materials and works in front of the Investor (state) and for the needs of professional supervision of state projects.

– Also, by obtaining accreditation, the conditions were met for the Laboratory to provide services to third parties in the field of its scope of accreditation – the announcement says.

The company's plans are for the Laboratory to continuously improve and expand its scope, and with that idea, the Corridors of Serbia announced a public procurement for the provision of new equipment that will meet the preconditions for the first scope expansion.
