AIK banka approves credits to Vojvodina’s farmers

Through its regional center in Novi Sad, Niš-based AIK banka approved credits worth 5 billion CSD mainly for agriculture.

The credit is approved for procurement of about 500 big tractors and combines, on period of 60 months, with one-year grace period and annual interest rate of 6.5%.

The plan for the year 2006 is that the bank approves 2,500 credits from its own sources to individual farmers in total amount of 1 billion CSD.

The interests on credits for individual farmers will amount to 6.5% on annual basis and the extension of repayment period from 5 to 6 years will be possible.

Parallelly with the credits for agriculture, Office of AIK Banka in Novi Sad offers short-term and long-term credits and debit cards to the citizens. 10,000 DINA cards were issued only in Novi Sad.

Offices of AIK banka in Subotica, Bečej, Vrbas, Sombor, Zrenjanin, Pančevo and Novi Sad operates in the makeup of Novi Sad-based Regional Center. The offices in Inđija, Ruma and Sremska Mitrovica will be opened until the end of 2005. (Tanjug)
