Serbian Ambassador to Russia Miroslav Lazanski says that a delegation from Russia is supposed to arrive to the Torlak Institute in Serbia by the end of the current week or at the beginning of the next one, in order to examine the staff and technical capacities of the institute and whether it is able to produce the Russian vaccine Sputnik V.
Recently, a delegation from Serbia, including the minister for innovations, Nenad Popovic, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Torlak Institute, visited Russia and the institute where Sputnik V is produced, in order to agree the production in Serbia.
– By the end of the week or at the beginning of the next week, a delegation of the Russian institute should come to Torlak to examine the capacities of Torlak. An agreement has been reached whereby Serbia might produce Sputnik V vaccines, being a reference point for the entire Southeast Europe, which would be very good for our pharmaceutical industry as well – Lazanski said on TV Pink, Tanjug reports.
