New Economy Stimulus Package in Ten Days

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today that a new economy stimulus package could be expected in ten days.

– We are not in a lockdown, the restaurants are open until 8 PM, we want people to be able to work and survive. There will be a new economy stimulus package and it can be expected in ten days – he said on TV Prva.

– We do have the money, but the well is not bottomless – he said.

Vucic said that the average salary in November had been EUR 518 and that they were aiming at EUR 540.

– In the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, we are by far the first in the region – according to him.

He says that the aim for Belgrade is for the average salary to be at EUR 650.

Vucic notes that the geopolitical and geoeconomic circumstances in the world are changing drastically.

– The question of vaccination is a question of economic survival. At minus one, Serbia is by far the best in Europe, thanks to fighting coronavirus – he claims.

Vucic says that the first next country is at –3, that Montenegro is at –16 and that Croatia is at –10.
