Russian Uraltransmas Plans to Supply Belgrade with Over 100 Trams
– Negotiations are in progress. The intergovernment commission of Russia and Serbia has this issue on the agenda. Belgrade is not a small city – we’re talking over a hundred trams – he said, as reported by balkanrus.com.
The intention to deliver 100 trams to Serbia was announced back in late 2019.
The tram model 71-411 is adapted for cities with meter-tracks. It is 14.7 meter long, 2.2 meters wide, and the axle of the bogie is 1.9 meters. The maximum speed is 75 km/h, and acceleration time to 40 km/h is ten seconds. The maximum capacity is 179 people. The implemented design solutions allow the tram to move along non-straight tracks by leveling the vibrations.
The company plans to deliver 60 trams this year, Semizorov said.
He also said that the company has prepared commercial offers for the supply of low-floor trams in numerous countries.
– We can meet the European demands as well – he said and added that the factory was to get new European standard licenses for deliveries abroad by mid-2021.
