Construction of Stadium in Loznica to Begin in April, Completion Deadline Two Years – Works in Leskovac Waiting for Decision of Rights Protection Commission

After the construction of the stadium in Zajecar began in late 2020, the “stadiumization”, as eKapija has learned, should continue in Loznica, whereas the works in Leskovac are to start once the decision of the Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures of the Republic of Serbia is adopted.

The construction of the city stadium Lagator in Loznica should start in early April 2021, the Office for Public Investment Management told our portal. The completion deadline is two years.

– When it comes to the stadium in Loznica, the deadline period started on January 1, 2021, when the guarantee for the proper execution of the works was submitted. The total deadline period for the execution of the obligations under the contract is 730 calendar days. According to the dynamic plan, the execution of the works should start in early April 2021 – the office told our portal.

Let us remind that, after the public procurement procedure for the project and the construction of the stadium in Loznica was stopped in mid-December, as no acceptable bids had been sent, the Office for Public Investment Management adopted the decision in 2020 to award the contract to the group that was the sole bidder.

The job was awarded to Termomont doo Belgrade, Teming Electrotechnology doo Niš, MPP Jedinstvo ad Sevojno, Geourb group doo Belgrade, Saša Milosavljević PR Centar za preventivni inženjering, projektovanje, edukaciju i savetovanje BP Consulting Kruševac, Tron Tex doo Novi Sad, CEP doo Belgrade and Dim trade Belgrade.

A new stadium is also to be built in Leskovac. The contractors have been selected and the building permit has been issued. However, before the construction starts, the Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures of the Republic of Serbia needs to adopt a pertinent decision.
