He said for Vecernje Novosti that 2020 had been a difficult year and that the revenues of the PE Roads of Serbia had dropped, because the pandemic had slowed down the traffic compared to the previous years. However, according to Momirovic, the burden should not be placed on the shoulders of the citizens of Serbia.
– A drastic drop in passenger traffic followed the declaration of the pandemic in the first half of 2020, which drastically reduced all types of traffic, not just local, but also international passenger traffic – Momirovic said.
He says that in this global crisis “of unimaginable proportions”, transport is among the most affected sectors.
