Professional Supervision of Exploratory Works for Construction of First BG Subway Line Entrusted to Faculty of Mining and Geology

The Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade is to carry out the professional-technical supervision of the terrain, exploratory and geological engineering works and laboratory tests for the purpose of the preparation of a geotechnical study. The study of the conditions of the construction is being prepared for the purposes of the Feasibility Study with the Preliminary Project for the first phase of the subway Line 1 in Belgrade. The value of the agreement is RSD 2.4 million.

Among other things, professional supervision entails the control of whether the terrain exploratory works and laboratory tests are carried out in line with the project of geological explorations and the control of the quality and quantity of all the works and the compliance with the laws, regulations, standards and technical norms.

Let us remind that the PUE Beogradski metro i voz opened the public procurement procedure in November. The procedure envisages for the professional supervision to be carried out from the beginning of terrain explorations to the completion of laboratory tests. The deadline for the completion of the professional supervision is 150 days from the date the agreement comes into effect.

Let us remind that the Faculty of Mining and Geology was recently entrusted with the job of the technical control of the study of the geological engineering-geotechnical conditions of the construction for the purposes of the preparation of the Feasibility Study with the Preliminary Project for the first phase of the subway Line 1.
