APR to Start Issuing Certificates and Confirmations of Actual Owners

The Business Registers Agency (APR) will start issuing certificates and confirmations from the Central Register of Actual Owners.

Also, interested users will be able to get a confirmation from the Central Register with historical data about the actual owners of the registered subject (confirmation for the registered subject) and the confirmation that a natural person is or used to be registered as an actual owner of the registered subject (confirmation for a natural person), APR says on its website.

The request can be filed electronically, through the system of centralized applications of APR users (in which case the fee is charged electronically too), or in a written form, on a special form, available on the agency’s website.

If the request is filed in a written form, proof of payment of the fee must be submitted along with the request.

The submitter has the option of choosing the manner of the issuing of the document regardless of the manner of submission, because APR is able to issue a certificate or a confirmation in an electronic or written form.

The certificate is obtained at the agency, or its organization units, immediately, if the request is filed personally, whereas confirmations in paper form are issued within two days of the filing of the request.

The certificate or the confirmation ordered through the centralized system in an electronic form can be picked up immediately after the fee payment is made.
