Construction of housing project, of which temporary name is Duvanište 2, is underway in Niš. The project will be named Magdon after the company who elaborated it and which is also the owner of the settlement. Gojko Jovanović is manager in this firm for years, whereas the official owner is daughter Dragana Jovanović, while the main architect is spouse Marica Jovanović. The company has headquarters in Moscow and Cyprus. Now, there is also an office in Niš, which obtained €12m from Cyprus-based Popular bank for construction of the afforementioned settlement.
Housing Project Magdon will have organized park with two small lakes with fish, fountains, playgrounds, it will be completely secured and the entrance will be possible only with the chip card.
There will be a monitor in the living room and it will make it possible for the user to see what is happening in the yard and around the settlement. There are also three emergency buttons for alarming Police, Ambulance or Fire Department. There will be a garage beneath the settlement and it will, also, have restricted access.
The apartments will have living room, modern, completely furnished kitchen, wardrobes, 2 toilets, bathroom with jacuzzi... 240 apartments (59-118 square meters) will be offered for sale at price that will range from 950 to 1050 EUR/m2.
The water will heated by means of central heating system. During the winter, it will be heated by the city heating plant, whereas, in the summer, it will be heated by means of the chillers on the roof, which will be cooling apartments during the summer. The side effect of this kind of cooling is warm water that will appear in apartments. There will be big savings in waste disposal. The contracts have already been signed with the companies that recycle paper, plastic and glass. The tenants will be getting their money back thanks to these contracts. There is also plan for purchase of the briquetting machine for trash, so that the tenants will be earning some money.
Once they move in, the tenants will get instructions they will have to obey, both for themselves and for the others.
Magdon will have its own pharmacy, legal office and computer center. The tenants will be paying all their bills at one place, with the immediate check of consumption of all available services. All bills will have to be paid in 3 days because company Magdon paid for all these services to public utility and other companies before.
