Efficiency has become a leading trend when it comes to the industry, which is why the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems are becoming increasingly popular in construction and renovation of houses and business space. In the years behind us, users paid much attention to affordable oil and gas prices, whereas no one considered the environment.

Furthermore, the construction industry favored facilities which fit the time they were built in entirely. However, by shifting the focus on efficiency, there was a reconsideration and a need for a suitable strategy for the use of the HVAC technology.

That’s where the air-water heat pumps become important. Regarding the consumption of electrical energy, they provide much more efficiency than they require investment. Here in the market, the one that especially stands out is the heat pump Zubadan Mitsubishi Electric, the only one that works without an electro-heater up to –28 degrees Celsius.

Considering that the new era will be dedicated to raising environmental awareness and reducing the consumption of electricity to the end of reducing the costs, the governments of numerous countries also advise and incite the installations of these pumps in new facilities. Although it may sound too good to be true, the key to the operations of an air-water heat pump is the absorption of heat from the external air, even at temperatures below –20 degrees Celsius. This way, thanks to the good coefficient of performance (COP), the heat pump Zubadan Mitsubishi Electric can give up to 5 kW of heating energy for every 1kW of electricity used.

Zubudan Mitsubishi Electric is part of the Ecodan system, which, in addition to efficiency, provides a unique solution that can unify heating, cooling and supply of hot sanitary water. It is an ideal solution for new facilities under construction, “green buildings”, but also as a replacement of existing heating systems to the end of a drastic reduction of the costs of exploitation, without the use of electrical heaters.

Advantages of Ecodan compared to other heating systems:

Low exploitation costs – the highly efficient air-water heat pump system (COP 4.46 kW) enables extremely low exploitation costs.

Low level of noise – the latest models of the heat pumps enable a quiet and stable work of the unit; the level of noise is reduced to only 52 dBA on the maximum heating mode.

Simple installation and maintenance – all that is required is to connect the outer and the inner unit (hydrobox).

Stability and reliability without electro-heaters – Ecodan system is designed to function at an optimal level throughout the year; the maximum temperature of water is 60 degrees Celsius, and the system functions up to the external temperature of –28 degrees Celsius.

The system consists of an external unit, a top-quality air-water heat pump inverter, where the ZUBADAN series stands out for its quality, having proven to be irreplaceable when it comes to working at low temperatures with a low consumption of electrical energy, but 100% performance, and an internal unit – Hydrobox, which is equipped with top-quality components that guarantee long-lasting and care-free exploitation.

The external unit can be adapted to all hot water needs, whether for floor or radiator heating, combined with the preparation of hot sanitary water. Hydrobox is equipped with electronics for two heating circles and it enables the implementation of a combination of floor and radiator heating.
