The Croatian Fortenova Group has made a notification about the intent to take over a 3.85% stake in Dijamant Zrenjanin, as announced at the Belgrade Stock Exchange.
Fortenova is here acting together with Agrokor, which, according to the data of the Central Securities Depository, owns 96.15% shares of Dijamant.
In the targeted 3.85% of the shares, the majority, 3.19% shares, are held by Dijamant itself, whereas the rest is owned by natural persons and custody accounts of certain banks.
Fortenova Group announced that, within 15 days, it would request an approval of the announcement of the offer from the Securities Commission of Serbia and announce the offer as soon as it gets the approval.
As said, the acquisition should take place based on the protocol between Fortenova and Agrokor, which dates back to late March 2019.
