BRNABIC: Project of 5G network in Serbia has not been halted, finalization of everything necessary for the tendering procedure in progress

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today that Serbia would continue working on the development of the 5G network and on finalizing everything necessary for the tender to open.

Brnabic said that the project had not been halted and added that Serbia was not behind EU states in this matter, since many of them had not implemented the 5G network either.

– It is especially important to note that, at the moment, citizens of Serbia have no need for the 5G network. Maybe science-technology parks and researchers that use supercomputers for AI need it – Brnabic told the press in response to the question why the implementation of the 5G network had been abandoned.
