Ministry Opens Third Public Call for Building of Broadband Internet Network in Serbia

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia has opened the third public call for interested operators of electronic communications for taking part in carrying out the projects of joint building of broadband communications infrastructure, which will last until January 18.

According to the ministry’s website, the invitation pertains to the joint building of the broadband communications infrastructure in 386 places in 89 municipalities in Serbia.

Eligible participants are all electronic communications operators which carry out or are authorized to carry out the activity of electronic communications and which are registered as public communication network and service operators in the register run by the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services.

This is the third public invitation for the first phase of the Project of the building of broadband communications infrastructure in rural areas in Serbia, which will last through 2022.
