Decathlon, one of the largest chains of sports goods stores, opened its second store in Serbia, in New Belgrade, at 35 Djordja Stanojevic Street, on November 27, at 9 am. This will be the largest Decathlon and also the largest sports shop in Serbia, at nearly 4,000 m2, where over 50 people got a job opportunity. Around EUR 3 million was invested in the new Decathlon, and what sets it apart is its multifunctional playground, which is located within the store itself, as well as a large number of test zones where the customers will be able to test various equipment for over 100 sports, such as mountain and water sports, through swimming, jogging, nautical activities, fitness and gymnastics, to team sports, cycling, fishing etc.
In addition to top quality sports equipment brands, Decathlon also offers a wide range of sports equipment at affordable prices, and in its outlets it offers numerous own brands gathered under the common name of Passion brands, which makes it stand apart for sports equipment of equal quality at more affordable prices.
As a socially responsible company, Decathlon complies with all the measures against the spreading of coronavirus during the opening of the store. Due to the new restrictions, the store will be open from 9 am to 6 pm, and the conditions for maintaining the recommended physical distance will be provided at the facility. All the surfaces will be disinfected regularly.
