From January 1, 2021, the retirement age for women will be extended by two months and they will be eligible for full retirement at 63 years and two months of age. There is no change for men – 65 years of age and at least 15 years of working service.

The director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund sector for pensions and disability insurance rights, Vladimir Stankovic, said on RTS that the conditions for premature retirement were also to change for men and women in 2021: 58 years and four months of age and 39 years and four months of working service for women and 59 year of age and 40 years of working experience for men.

By the end of the year, old-age retirement is available to men of 65 years of age and at least 15 years of working service and women of 63 years of age and at least 15 years of working service.

– It’s different when it comes to premature retirement. For men, the conditions are 40 years of working service and 58 years and four months of age, and for women, it’s 39 years of working service and 57 years and four months of age – Stankovic explains.
