Hedera Vita Innovates Production – Plan Includes Purchase of Most Modern Equipment and Exclusive Cosmetics Products Matching World Brands
Hedera Vita offers 300 cosmetics products, produced in small series at the production facility in Loznica, which the company originates from and where their first store is located.
– Our cosmetics are created on a natural base, from premium quality ingredients, and some of the ingredients are imported and used in the local market exclusively by us. By producing in small series, we are able to give full attention to each product, making our brand exclusive. The machine process is certainly there to upgrade and accelerate the production and to increase the capacities, but a part of the products is still made manually, which will remain so in the future as well. It is a tradition that we remain loyal to. We are also trying to keep up with the trends when it comes to the appearance of our products, so we import packaging from Italy, France and Switzerland – our interviewee says.
According to Olgica Samoilovic, a new investment in the equipment for production of natural cosmetics is planned.
– We have been lucky to be recognized as a company which is good to invest in, so we received an incentive from the Development Fund for the purchase of the most modern equipment, which we will use in early 2021. Plans and strategies for the next year are currently being prepared, so we can't reveal anything at the moment.
Hedera Vita stores exist in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica and Loznica, and Olgica reveals that certain expansions in this segment are planned.
Furthermore, Hedera products can also be found in larger store and cosmetics chains and in well supplied pharmacies, and as for the export, the company covers the European market and the region by exporting to Switzerland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Norway, the Netherlands, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries, as well as the markets of the USA and Canada.
When it comes to the future, Hedera Vita has ambitious plans.
– Our plan is for Hedera Vita to gain strength in the global market, to expand our exporting capacities and to position ourselves as producers of exclusive cosmetics, which we are by all quality standards. Recently, our quality was confirmed for the third time (GMP Standard), which has solidified our already strong foundations in the market, and we plan to expand our activities with the Management Certificate within the GMP Standard. Our team of experts is working on a strategy for 2021, which will be a turning point for us in many ways. Since we are a company which also produces per order for well known local and foreign brands, it has required great dedication from us and even putting our brand in the background, but since everything has come into place now, it is time to dedicate ourselves fully to ourselves. We are considering creating a whole new subcategory within our brand, but in a whole different way. It would be an exclusive cosmetics line, with ingredients worthy of the world's most famous brands – our interviewee says.
The company's leader adds that, in the marketing sector, Hedera Vita intends to remain restrained.
– We do not intend to expose our users to excessive marketing which creates a false image of the brand, but to continue going down the more difficult part, where the quality of the products is our marketing – Olgica Samoilovic says and adds that their intention is to conquer the world with their quality.
Full steam ahead even during the pandemic
According to Samoilovic, Hedera Vita is one of the few companies that has never stopped operating since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
– Our production capacities have even increased, because, when the situation got unfavorable and when there was a dearth of disinfectants, alcohol-based products and gels for dry hand-washing, we decided to verify our products as biocides. We reacted fast and turned our entire production system upside down. We started producing large amounts of these products, so as to be able to supply the market and help hospitals, health centers and institutions on the frontline – Olgica says.
