Negotiations on construction of northern branch of Corridor 10 continue - Nibens Group gave best offer
Nibens Group announced today (April 7, 2010) that the domestic consortium led by Company for Roads Beograd had given the most favorable offer in the negotiations on construction of the left highway lane, 110 kilometers long, on the northern branch of Corridor 10 through Serbia.
As people from Nibens Group told Beta agency, the bid in the negotiation procedure that was commenced after the tender for construction of that section was closed has also been submitted by Primorje from Slovenia, while Croatian Hidroelektroniskogradnja has not given a new offer.
- The negotiation procedure, the participants in which are two bidders and the Tender commission, will be resumed today at 5 PM - said the people from Nibens Group.
The tender for construction of total of 110 km of left lane of the highway from Horgoš to Novi Sad and from Kelebija to Subotica was abolished due to irregularities in all bids, after which direct negotiations were commenced in accordance with the Law on public procurements.
The bids on the tender for construction of the left lane of highway from Horgoš to Novi Sad and from Kelebija to Subotica were submitted by the consortium of Serbian companies, Slovenian company Primorje and Croatian Hidroelektroniskogradnja in the consortium with Subotica-based Vojput.
Domestic consortium offered the lowest price of 9.97bn RSD, with the note that that price would be consequently brought in accord with inflation. Croatian company offered to build that section for 11.55bn RSD, while Slovenians offered the price of 13.47bn RSD.
In order for the bids to be regular, the domestic consortium should offer a fixed price, Serbian-Croatian consortium should replace the existing guarantee with the guarantee from a bank registered in Serbia, while Slovenian Primorje should lower the price because the limit in the budget is set to 10bn RSD.
The consortium led by Company for Roads Beograd also comprises Putevi Užice, Borovica Transport from Ruma and Planum from Belgrade.
Construction of 110 km of half of highway on Corridor 10 includes the section from Horgoš to the 28th km from the border, the section between the 38th and 98th kilometer of Horgoš-Novi Sad road, as well as the section between Kelebija and Subotica.
According to the tender terms, construction of these section should have started in March 2010, and it should last for maximum 22 months.
