Shaping Future Mobility – Promising Jobs at Brose
Brose is sticking to its planned investments in Serbia even in the crisis caused by coronavirus: in the new location in Pancevo, funds of EUR 120 million are already available. The construction works are advancing fast. In late 2020, the first technical buildings and production facilities will be set up on an area of 220,000 square meters. The completion of the works is planned for the next spring, and the production should start in August 2021.
The family company is looking for enthusiastic, motivated young people who want to help shape the mobility of the future, who face challenges creatively and who are open to changes. Brose offers career perspectives in development, sales, purchase and production, for example, for positions such as software and hardware programmers, project managers, testing technicians, component procurement commercialists, maintenance engineers or assembly workers.
Modern working environment, alternative social contributions
The highly automated production also entails the production of electronics. The electronics for Brose Group are produced in clean-room conditions. In the upcoming years, around 900 employees are to be added in all areas of the production. Furthermore, in 2025, the development center is to be established, where 200 engineers will develop new products for electric vehicles, providing clients with custom-made solutions and drivers with increased safety, comfort and efficiency.
One of Brose's social contributions is its own cafeteria. The employees also have private health insurance, financed by the company, including an annual medical examination. Modern professional development, partly including challenging training courses in Germany, Mexico and China, is offered to the best representatives, as is participation in development programs for management.
Socially active in the city and the region
Brose also complies with corporate responsibility: for example, the family company has given important contribution to the expansion of the capacities of Covid-19 testing, thereby helping preserve the health of Pancevo's citizens. Brose aims to cooperate with local schools, as well as the Technical University in Novi Sad and the University in Belgrade, to the end of detecting and promoting talented people at an early stage and stimulating the development of joint research projects. In the future, the automotive supplier will regularly open its factory to interested citizens, allowing them to witness the production process and the working environment.
Innovations and orientation to growth
Brose Group develops and produces mechatronic systems for car doors and seats, as well as electrical engines and electronics, including steering wheels, brakes, gearshifts and coolers. In 2019, around 25,000 employees in 65 locations in 24 countries realized sales worth EUR 6.2 billion. Each second new car in the world is equipped with at least one Brose product. The company's client list features around 80 automotive brands, over 40 suppliers and 50 producers of electric bikes.
The innovative power of the international and interdisciplinary team is shown through a large number of patents. In the upcoming years, Brose wants to continue its stable growth and its self-financing. Thanks to this, the company has become one of the top 40 companies in its field.
