Serbian Government to provide guarantee for 170m EUR worth of loan to Srbijagas

The Government of Serbia has declared the Law on provision of guarantees of the Republic of Serbia to Banca Intesa AD Belgrade for the loan granted to Public company Srbijagas in Novi Sad.

The Law was declared at the First meeting of the First regular session in 2010, on March 23, 2010. According to that Law, the Republic of Serbia takes on the obligation, as the guarantor, to pay the obligations of Novi Sad-based public company Srbijagas for the long-term Dinar loan with foreign currency (Euro) clause, granted by Banca Intesa AD Belgrade, in the amount that can not exceed the Dinar amount indexed according to the amount of 170m EUR, increased by the amount of the agreed interest, fees and expenses.
