The Port Governance Agency has opened a public procurement procedure for the construction of a pontoon with an access bridge for the international passenger terminal in Sremska Mitrovica. The estimated value of the works is RSD 33.33 million without VAT.
The pontoon will be built as the main pontoon between the international passenger terminal in Sremska Mitrovica, where passenger ships in international and local traffic will dock, and as a safe passageway for passengers from the boat to the pontoon and then to the developed coastal area.
The pontoon will be set up on an approved location, approximately at km 138+800 of the left coast of the Sava, outside of the international waterway of the river Sava.
The auxiliary pontoon will act as support to the access bridge connected with the coast. The connection with the main pontoon will be detachable.
The main pontoon will be made under the supervision of the Directorate for Determining Boat Navigability.
The bridge structure will be 30 meters long. It will lean on the auxiliary pontoon and slide over it freely across a movable fulcrum, in order to enable unobstructed horizontal movement of the bridge with the changing water levels. On the other side, the bridge structure will be fixed at the altitude of the pedestrian lane on the embankment.
The deadline period for the completion of all works is 180 days from the possession of the site.
Bids may be submitted by November 16, 2020.
