Two Solutions for North Macedonian Post Office, Public-Private Partnership or Privatization
The government has taken an initiative for the preparation of a feasibility study of a public-private partnership or privatization, after which the process of liberalization of postal services, in line with the EU regulations, will continue, TV21 reports.
The North Macedonian Post Office has been in a difficult financial situation for years now. The latest report of the State Audit Office shows that, since 2012, the company has been operating with losses of around EUR 10 million, the TV station says.
The North Macedonian Post Office employs more than 2,000 people.
