Moody's Confirms Belgrade's Credit Rating for 2020
The “Ba3 positive”credit rating points to careful fiscal management, which has resulted in healthy fiscal results, Moody's says in its analysis and adds that the unprecedented shock caused by the coronavirus epidemic and the drop of the economic activity will have an impact on the city's revenues in 2020.
The credit strength and the healthy business results before the crisis have dampened the economic shock caused by the epidemic. Belgrade has an overall satisfactory financial result, regardless of the remarkably large investment needs, a favorable level of liquidity, rich economic activities and an important role as the center of the national economy, the report says.
