After 107 days, the summer season at the Kopaonik mountain center ends this Sunday, October 4, the PE Ski Resorts of Serbia announced.
The company has realized remarkable business results in slightly over three months, and the visits record for summer features on Kopaonik has been broken as well.
Since June 18, when the mountain center opened this summer, a turnover 2.7 times larger than last year's has been realized, it is specified and added that the number is matched by the number of visitors, which has also increased considerably compared to the previous summer.
The most visits were recorded on August 2, when the summer features were used by more than 4,300 tourists, and the fully secure and safe destination, which has all the precautionary measures implemented, has contributed to Kopaonik being one of the most visited travel destinations in Serbia.
After a successful summer, the Ski Resorts of Serbia are intensifying the preparations for the winter season, during which they will provide new features for skiers and snowboarders.
The three new tracks are only some of the new features. Also, the construction of the Brzece-Mali Karaman gondola system is in progress.
In addition to activities on the construction of new features at the ski center, the Ski Resorts of Serbia, in cooperation with the Ski Association of Serbia, are preparing the organization of Europa women's tournament in the slalom and grand slalom disciplines, to be held at the Duboka track between February 22 and 26, 2021.
This very important skiing event is already on the schedule of the International Ski Federation (FIS).
