Invitation for Co-financing of Energy Efficiency and Modernization of Public Lighting in Towns and Municipalities Opens

The Ministry of Mining and Energy has announced that it has opened a public invitation to towns, municipalities and urban municipalities to submit projects for improvement of energy efficiency and modernization of public lighting in their territories.

Projects eligible for budget funds for improvement of energy efficiency pertain to upgrade of thermal outer layers and thermal-technical systems in facilities, installation of solar collectors for water heating and modernization of systems of interior lighting in buildings and public lighting.

The support to projects in municipalities in devastated areas will be up to 100%, whereas for other local self-governments, up to 70% of the value of the submitted projects is offered. The maximum amount is RSD 20 million.

The ministry offers up to 20% of the project value for projects of modernization of public lighting, and up to RSD 3 million.

Projects are to be submitted to the Ministry of Mining and Energy by November 12.
