Big Polish company in Serbia - Deputy Prime Minister of Poland visited Asseco SEE

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy of Poland, Valdemar Pavlak, paid a visit to Asseco South Eastern Europe, the regional leader in the area of information technologies, with the headquarters in Belgrade. Pavlak visited the company, which is a part of Polish Asseco Group, one of six largest IT corporations in Europe, during the stay of Polish high delegation of statesmen and entrepreneurs in the Republic of Serbia.
- I am satisfied with the results of the visit to Belgrade, which opened the new opportunities for development of bilateral cooperation, especially in the area of economics and investments – said the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Valdemar Pavlak, and added that "special support should be given to further progress of IT industry, which is one of the quickest-growing branches of economy, while company Asseco, as its part, represents a good example for all future investments of Polish companies in Serbia".
- Pavlak's visit and the support he gave to our company are significant stimulus for further development, as well as an acknowledgment of our previous successful operations in Serbia – said Miodrag Mirčetić, the President of the Administrative Board of Asseco SEE in Belgrade.
- As the regional leader in the area of banking and other ICT solutions, we have the vision to integrate Serbia, as soon as possible, into global trends and we share the opinion of the Government and the most successful parts of domestic economy that knowledge and application of advanced technologies should be the base for future development of Serbia - Mirčetić added.
Asseco SEE will organize regional conference New Banking Vision this year. Its main theme will be the application of advanced technologies in banking business and it is expected to gather the representatives of governments and central national banks of the countries in the region, the leaders of business banks in surrounding countries, as well as the most significant experts in the area of banking and information technologies. The conference will be held in the period between May 25 and 28 in Umag, Croatia.
Serbian companies Antegra, Cardinfo and Pexim are members of Asseco SEE.
