Public invitation for selection of operators to build broadband infrastructure in rural areas
The invitation refers to joint construction of the broadband infrastructure in the following cities: Loznica, Valjevo, Ljubovija, Knjaževac, Vladicin Han, Dimitrovgrad, Backa Topola, Gornji Milanovac, Prijepolje and Novi Pazar.
All certified operators who provide electronic communications services as per the Law on Electronic Communications and who are registered in the Database of public electronic communications networks and service operators of the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services.
As stated before, the planned expansion of the internet network should enable access to fast internet for 90,000 in rural areas as well as enable public purpose facilities, entailing at least 600 schools, and public institutions, local communities and other state and local self-government organs to be connected to the internet.
