Car Show in Early October in Nis
The founder and director of the show, Oliver Paunovic, said for Niske Vesti that he had consulted the experts and that they had approved the organization of this fair event. He also said that an official request had been sent to the Crisis Response Team of the City of Nis for an opinion on the holding of the Auto Moto Fest, an even of great economic and tourist importance for the city for over a decade now.
– We are waiting for the Crisis Response Team to reach the decision, but we are ready to implement all the protection measures when it comes to the visitors, in line with the situation. By implementing said measures and controlling the number of visitors in the hall, we are sure that we can ensure the health safety of both the participants and the visitors – Paunovic pointed out.
The exhibition space of the Cair Hall takes up over 2,000 square meters and the number of visitors will not exceed the allowed or the recommended quota at any point, the organizers said and added that they would also provide additional supervision regarding compliance with the measures against the coronavirus pandemic.
The manager of the fair, Sasa Djordjevic, points out that, according to the current information, this will be the only Car Show to be held in Serbia, because all others have been canceled, so the citizens of Nis will have the opportunity to see what's new in the field first.
– We expect a large number of Serbian premieres, precisely because we will be the only town in Serbia to hold a Car Show, thanks to the fact that the epidemic has stabilized and that our hall is big enough to be able to comply with all the proscribed measures. Still, for now, we only know which brands will be exhibited, but we have not yet been informed by the distributor how many premieres there will be and which – Djordjevic said.
There was a great interest in the 11th Car Show in Nis. The booths of the largest hall in Nis were quickly filled. If the epidemiology situation allows for it, the south of Serbia will be able to see, but also buy, new products from the following brands: Fiat, Toyota, Citroen, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Renault, Dacia, Nissan, Mazda, Motogrini, Jeep and Hyundai. Numerous auto centers and services will take part as well.
The Car Show in Nis, as usual, will be held on the first weekend in October this year as well, that is, on October 2-4, 2020.
