Construction of Another Industrial Zone Planned in Sid

The Municipality of Sid is preparing an amendment to the spatial plan, which envisages, in addition to the existing industrial zone in Adasevci, an industrial zone in Jamena, that is, a business zone on a section of the Jamena-Racinovci road.

According to Zoran Semenovic, the deputy president of the Municipality of Sid, the new business zone will be able to accommodate both production and service activities, as well as activities in the function of road and traffic infrastructure.

– The Jamena-Racinovci road, which will be completed by the end of the year, will open this part of Serbia to Brcko, Banjaluka and the entire Republika Srpska and drastically increase the transit traffic – Semenovic said.

He noted that, by the middle of the next year, a border crossing would be established as well, as reported by TV Sremska.

By the end of the year, the Sid-Kuzmin road will be finished as well.
