Expansion of Capacity of Water Sources in Novi Sad Planned – Exploration in Three Locations
The exploration will be carried out in three locations – sources Strand, Petrovaradinska ada and Ratno ostrvo, the latter two being in use, while Strand is waiting to be repaired.
The project will be prepared by Hidrozavod DTD and handed over to Vodovod i kanalizacija, and as the latter company says for 021, the project defines the scope and the type of works to be carried out in the upcoming period.
– Based on the project, the exploration rights is obtained for the target area from the provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources. In the upcoming period, as was the case previously when works were being carried out under this project as well, the existing horizontal-drainage wells will be reconstructed, and the construction of new ones is planned as well – Vodovod i kanalizacija says for 021.
