Vucic Says that Serbia's GDP Growth This Year Will be the Best in Europe at Around Zero

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has stated today that the projection is being kept that Serbia will have the best GDP growth in Europe this year, at “around zero”.

At a media conference, he said that, in the second quarter of 2020, some European countries would see a GDP drop of up to 20%, whereas, in Serbia, the drop would most likely be at 9.9%.


According to him, in June, industrial production grew by 2.6% compared to the same month last year, whereas, compared to May 2020, the growth was 9.5%.

The growth of the manufacturing industry in June, according to him, was higher by 11.3% than in May.
