Serbian cheese of 1,000 EUR
Cheese made of asses' milk in Special nature reserve Zasavica is the world's most expensive cheese since its price is 1,000 EUR per kilogram. According to the words of the Manager of Zasavica, Slobodan Simić, one kilogram of that cheese is made of about 25 liters of asses' milk.
- This cheese will be expensive because its production requires bigger quantity of low-fat milk that costs about 40 EUR per liter. So far, nobody has ever made a cheese of the milk given by asses, and we are going to make it to the order of customers - says Simić and adds that people will be able to taste this latest product from Zasavica, which will be named "pule", at the forthcoming Belgrade's Tourism Fair, between February 24 and 28.Most Important News
