Volkswagen World's Most Indebted Company
According to the latest research, Volkswagen owns around USD 192 billion, which is more than most states, such as Hungary, with 101.9 billion, and South Africa, with 180 billion in debt, SeeBiz reports.
At the top of the list are other German companies, so Daimler, whose debt is around USD 151 billion, is third.
Among the ten most indebted companies, as many as five come from the automotive industry, with Toyota being fourth, with a debt of 138 billion, Ford owing around 122 billion (seventh spot) and BMW being eight, with 114 billion in debts.
