Construction of Southern Mostar Bypass Route and Final Section of Neum-Stolac Road to Begin

The agreement on the construction of the southern Mostar bypass route, Miljkovici-Rodoc-M-17 connection section, Miljkovici (Varda)-Novi Tunnel entrance and Marijanovica Draga Viaduct subsection, was signed on July 16 with the contractors, Hering and KTM Brina. The agreement is worth BAM 7,625,528.90 without VAT, and the construction period is 18 months.

Also, Ceste FBiH signed the agreement on the construction of the Neum-Stolac road, Hutovo Cerovica (LOT 5) section and Cerovica-Stolovi (LOT 6) section. The contractor is the joint venture of Hering and Cestar from Split. The agreement is worth BAM 17,741,355.18 without VAT, and the construction period is 14 months.

In the presence of the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications, Denis Lasic, the agreements were signed by the acting director of Ceste FBiH, Ljubo Pravdic, and representatives of the contractors.


Hutovo-Cerovica-Stolovi is the final section of the Neum-Stolac road, the construction of which is part of the Program of Modernization of Roads in FBiH. Around BAM 72 million will be spent on the entire project of the construction of the Neum-Stolac road. All the works on this section are expected to be finished by the end of 2021.
