Air Serbia Now Flying to Oslo
The inaugural flight was welcomed with a traditional water cannon greeting at Gardermoen Airport, which is only 49 km from the capital, and represents the main airport of Oslo. The first flight was almost sold out in both directions, and tickets for flights to the capital of Norway can be purchased for as little as EUR 59 per one way.
– We are extremely glad to further expand the reach of our network, offering an opportunity to a great number of people from our country and the region, who live in Norway, to connect with their homeland, family and friends better. We are certain that a connection with one of the biggest European airports will greatly contribute to strengthening of the touristic and business ties between the Balkans and Scandinavia – said Jiri Marek, General Manager Commercial and Strategy, Air Serbia.
When it comes to northern Europe, the national airline also operates flights to Stockholm and Copenhagen, and the introduction of flights to and from Oslo will enable better connectivity with Scandinavia for the entire region.
– Once the flight schedule reaches full capacity, Air Serbia will provide its passengers with good connections from Oslo via Belgrade to Sarajevo, Tivat, Podgorica, Skopje, Bucharest, Sofia, Thessaloniki and other destinations in its international network – the airline carrier announced.
