The first online classical music festival in Serbia, Arlemm, begins on July 15 at 9 pm, and the opening will be broadcast on Telenor's YouTube channel, the organizers announced. The opening, which will take place at Cvetni Trg (Flower Square) in Belgrade, features performances by the string quartet of the School for Musical Talents, guitar player Milun Sunjarevic and singer-songwriter Katarina Pejak.

The concert will be followed by the opening of the Art Caravan exhibit, which will last until August 2 at the Flower Square.

The director of Arlemm, Dragutin Mladenovic, said that, despite the difficult situation concerning the world pandemic, culture perseveres and must survive.

– Thanks to the enthusiasm of the organizers and the associates, the Arlemm even will be a cultural oasis this year, which we will be able to enjoy together, absorbing that trace of hope that indicates that things will get better – Mladenovic said.

During its eleven years of existence, Arlemm has been a center of cultural events, gathering top-quality lecturers and musicians from the country and abroad, the organizers said.

The organization of Arlemm is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information, and the Telenor Foundation is one of the numerous donors.
