Restrictions for Entry of Serbian Citizens to Italy Lifted from Today, Quarantine Still Mandatory
As entry was possible only in special cases previously, it is now announced that, from today, the reason for traveling does not need to be explained.
Based on the recommendation of the Council of the European Union, approved on June 30, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Italy, Roberto Speranza, adopted initial measures of adapting the Italian regulations to the new European framework.
– These measures pertain to all the countries on the so-called “green list”, approved yesterday by Brussels, which includes Serbia. These measures, which come into effect today, will be reconsidered in 14 days – the press release says.
To enter Italy, a form needs to be filled out, which will soon be available, along with other useful information, on the embassy's website and the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy.
Information about the exceptions to the mandatory quarantine measure can be found within the FAQ sections on the websites of the embassy and the ministry, the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade has announced.
