Germany Still Not Opening Borders for Citizens of Serbia
The Council of the European Union has adopted the recommendation to lift the temporary restrictions on traveling to the EU for the citizens of 15 countries in the world, Serbia included, from today, but has warned that the implementation of this recommendation is entirely up to each member state.
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany has not yet decided whether to follow these recommendations, the embassy said on its Facebook page, as reported by Tanjug.
– Accordingly, the restrictions on entry to Germany still apply for the citizens of Serbia. We will inform you about any changes on time, on our website, www.belgrad.diplo.de, or through Facebook – the embassy says.
