MATIĆ: Government did not discuss privatization of Telekom

The Minister of Telecommunications of Serbia, Jasna Matić, said today that the Government had not discussed the privatization of Telekom Srbije.
- The Government of Serbia has not discussed that issue and I have no comment on that - said Ms. Matić.
Telekom Srbije is a closed joint-stock company, 80% of stocks of which are owned by the state through public company PTT Srbije, while remaining 20% are in the possession of Greek telecommunications company OTE.
According to Belgrade's media, negotiations on privatization of Telekom are led with German company Deutche Telekom, which has a certain share in Greek OTE.
