The Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) has successfully switched to the new edition of the ISO/IEC 17011:2017 standard.

In late May, the EA Multilateral Agreement Council (MAC) adopted the decision confirming a successful switch of ATS from the ISO/IEC 17011:2004 to the new edition of the ISO/IEC 17011:2017 standard. The decision was reached through online voting based on documentation rating of the Report of Self-Assessment of ATS by the team leader.

ATS has thereby confirmed the previously signed EA MLA agreement on the mutual recognition of the equivalency of the accreditation systems signed by the accreditation bodies-members of the EU by which the equivalency and the reliability of the reports and certificates issued by the harmonization rating bodies throughout Europe (the EA region) are recognized.

According to the plan of the EA MAC Committee, what follows is the regular peer review of ATS on location by the EA, which will be held in late 2021, ATS says on its website.
